After Rain Snack

The cinematic visuals in the documentary are juxtaposed with raw footage shot by the subjects themselves. By letting them have control over a camera, I enabled them to literally take control of their own narrative and vulnerably reveal their perspective to the audience. The contrast between my professional footage and their raw footage offers audiences a unique self-portrait that grounds the story within the intimate realities of village life.

As you'll see in this story vignette, filmed by the main character herself, she treats herself to a refreshment after work in her garden and after the rain stops falling. This is not a scene from the actual film, but serves as an example of what’s to come.

Thank you for your continued support of this unique project.
